Which ERP to choose Openbravo or Odoo?

For years, I've had the privilege of working on a variety of process management projects in different companies. Whether it's implementing solutions for Advanced Warehouse Management, modernizing Point of Sale systems, or improving Supply Chain and Logistics processes, there's always one question that inevitably arises at the start of each project: Which ERP to choose?

Allow me to be honest, after nearly a decade of working on implementations with Openbravo, I find myself somewhat biased on the matter. In my experience, I've found it to be very comprehensive and flexible to adapt to what clients have needed (forgive my bias).

However, in recent projects where we've begun to "experiment," I've had the pleasure of immersing myself in an incredibly strong community that backs Odoo, passionately arguing that it's one of the best options on the market.

These discussions have also reached our internal teams, where those of us who know every last detail of Openbravo (speaking of Java + JS developers) and the new team members (mostly Python developers) have been passionately debating the advantages and disadvantages of each.

I can't deny that this diversity of opinions has been refreshing and, in many ways, enriching for our projects. The perspectives of the "newcomers" have challenged our entrenched beliefs and led us to question our past choices.

So here I am, amidst a sea of ideas and passionate debates that include flexibility and extensibility, pricing, what's free and what's not, how easy or difficult the learning curve is, among many other things.

Though my loyalty to Openbravo remains strong, I can't ignore the innovation and enthusiasm I see in the Odoo community.
